I will bet that I have been out with my Meade LX90 telescope “Isabel”, more often them most owners get out in 3 years. If it is a clear night, we are out there, viewing the marvelous wonders of the night sky or imaging beautiful objects I could only ever dream of seeing before.  Most Thursday nights, I take the scope to our local planetarium where hundreds of people have had a chance to view planets, nebulae, galaxies, and other celestial wonders. Parents and kids marvel at what can be seen and kids particularly marvel at its simple to use yet sophisticated computer electronics.

On weekends I’m off to one of several dark sky sites or simply my light polluted back yard where I am still able to see things that I never could with my previous scopes. During the school year I take the scope to the local schools and boy scout troops to talk to kids about astronomy and introduce them to the universe courtesy of Isabel. While I have loved using this scope I am even more excited hundreds of people that have shared this experience with me through my fantastic LX90. I would like to think that there may even be some future astronomer out there whose interest came about by their first experience with my scope.

"The new DSI-Pro II is nothing short of an absolute joy to image with. The larger chip, greater sensitivity, and major software improvements make this camera a definite contender with "The Big Boys".

Overall, Meade has really topped themselves with the introduction of this camera. The DSI-Pro II is far more then simply a follow on to an existing product but instead shows Meade's dedication to providing beginner, intermediate, and even advanced astro-photographers with constantly improving platforms and processes along with a professional level of quality unheard of at this price."
